Argentine reports revealed that Diego Armando Maradona had undergone surgery on Tuesday, after a brain hemorrhage was discovered.

The Argentine soccer legend was hospitalized this Monday to undergo tests, after suffering the psychological causes described by his doctor.

The Argentine sports network TyC Sports reported that Maradona’s Dr. Leybold Loki had updated his status and stabilized brain surgery.

The CT scan revealed the presence of a hematoma known as hemorrhage in the brain.

Maradona celebrated his 60th birthday this Friday.

Argentine reports indicated yesterday that Maradona woke up Monday morning in a bad mood, in addition to suffering from stomach problems and lack of ability to eat.

His lawyer, Matthias Morla, tried to improve his mood but failed, so he contacted his doctor, Leopoldo Loki, who decided that it was better for Maradona to stay in the hospital in the next few days.

Clarín revealed that Maradona was psychologically affected because he could not celebrate with his children on October 30, his 60th birthday.

Maradona was also affected by the death of his sister’s husband, Raúl Machuca, after catching the Corona virus, and was one of his closest collaborators.
