Liverpool seek to strengthen the team’s defense by including Napoli defender Calido Coulibaly in a race between Real Madrid and Manchester United.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli is ready to look at the Senegalese defender’s offers.
The report noted that Naples will not consider a price of less than € 100 million, which is lower than what the club requested last season for € 120 million.
The newspaper noted that Liverpool is the most prominent candidate to join the Senegalese defender if he leaves Napoli.
La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Diane Leuven had entered as part of the deal, which would be a motivation for Napole instead of seeking a contract with another defender.
Coulibaly will turn 29 next June, and is tied to a contract with Naples until 2023, but there is no penalty clause if he leaves his contract with Naples.
Naples had supported their ranks with the Senegalese defender of the Belgian League in 2014 for 7.5 million euros.
