Medhat Abdel Hadi – Jamal Al Salami – Raja – Zamalek
Raja coach Jamal Salami promised his fans a historic match against Zamalek in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.
Raja will visit Zamalek next Wednesday in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
“We are ready to face Zamalek in the semi-finals, despite what we are suffering,” Jamal Salami told Moroccan radio MFM.
He explained: “The team lacks physical preparation after being away from training for a long time due to the sick conditions of the players, but we will try to make up for that with fighting spirit and hope.”
Salami, I follow, “Zamalek is one of the best teams in Africa, and we know how difficult the match is, and they have achieved many titles in recent years.”
He continued: “On the other hand, we will present a match to the best of our ability, and we will try to take advantage of our important advantage this season, which is the ability to score goals in the first minutes of the game, and also in the final minutes.”
Salami, I continue, “I admit that my team misses the atmosphere of the matches, unlike Zamalek, who just finished their local league, but the play-off matches are not subject to logic and we have experienced players who can change the game. Outcome”.
Raja’s coach continued: “In the first leg, we only played the last half hour, in which we almost changed the score with some of our chances. We now have a full 90 minutes to change the score, and maybe 120 minutes if we score a goal”.
“We will score against Zamalek in Cairo and defeat them. I promise the fans a historic match as happened in 2006, and we will qualify again from Cairo,” he added.
Zamalek defeated Raja with two goals to nil at the Arab Championship in Casablanca, before Raja returned and won a hat-trick in Egypt and progressed to the next round.
Jamal Salami completed his speech by saying: “I again ask for a fair decision from the African Union, because today’s decisions to leave were unfair and prevented my team from achieving at least one draw.”
Zamalek beat Raja 1-0 in the first leg in Casablanca.
Zamalek only needs a draw to qualify for the final match and face Al-Ahly, who qualified beforehand at Wydad’s expense.
