The Pyramids manager said: “We deserved a better result than a draw against Zamalek, but we are facing a strong team.”
“Congratulations to my players, especially for doing the first half,” he added in his statements during the press conference.
He added: “We presented a semi-integrated match against Zamalek, and the performance was better than the first round match against Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, and we will close the page for the Zamalek match.”
“Our objective is clear, which is to compete for all the titles. We have a good group of players and the season is still long.”
And Abdullah Al-Saeed continued “to be prejudiced against himself because of his complaints of pain.”
And about his team’s goal canceled against Zamalek, “I respect the refereeing in all its circumstances and I did not see the goal ball, but there is video technology that is the deciding factor,” said the Pyramids coach.
“We all make mistakes and there is no problem. Video technology is a fair trial.”
Substitute Ahmed Al-Sheikh scored first for Pyramids, before Mostafa Mohamed tied for Zamalek since the creation of the other alternate, Mohamed Onajem.
The tie lifted Pyramids’ balance to one point in 14th place, while Zamalek rose to four points in third place.
