Egypt Clearing House officially announced the resignation of the team’s coach, Ihab Jalal, from his position on Tuesday.
The clearinghouse stated in its statement that “the trainer made a formal apology to the board of directors, confirming that his mission with the clearing team has not been completed due to the delay in their financial fees.”
He continued: “The compensation desk decided to accept the apology and thanked the coach for his efforts with the team in the recent period, with an emphasis on paying his arrears during the next period.”
The compensation statement added: “The compensation board decided to assign Captain Ali Ashour, the youth coach, to take over as the new technical director of the compensation team for the next period, especially as the team has an important match next. Friday in front of Arab contractors in the league, provided Jamal Omar and Ahmed Hussam take over Ali Ashour’s assistant apparatus. The authorization completed his statement, thanking Ihab Jalal and his ability to put the team back on the right track and achieve many positive results.
This is the third time during the current season that a coach has gone into the clearing, after Ahmed Hussam “Mido”, Emmanuel Amunike and Ihab Jalal.
Al-Maqsas ranks eighth in the league table with a score of 37 points and is 10 points behind the relegation centers.
Ihab Jalal led the team in 11 matches, winning seven, drawing two and defeating the same.
