The Zamalek Football Committee supports the idea of hiring Amir Adel, or Alexander Yakobsen, the Egyptian-Danish player who is currently not associated with any club.
FilGoal.com learned that the 26-year-old was accepted by the Zamalek technical committee, to increase the chances of signing with him in the next period.
Zamalek is expected to act officially to close the deal in the next few hours.
Adel left the Norwegian club Sarpsburg last October and, in total, he scored 20 goals in 168 games on a long journey through the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.
At the same time, the committee rejected the contract with Saleh Jumaa.
Previously, FilGoal.com learned that there are some reservations from some Zamalek members on the technical staff about the listing of Saleh currently, due to his lack of involvement with Al-Ahly over a long period.
Abdel-Rahman Majdi, Saleh Jumaa’s agent, announced to FilGoal.com that the player’s contract with Al-Ahly was canceled by mutual consent.
He added: “Saleh got the final waiver and has a number of great performances, domestically and abroad, especially in Portugal.”
And he continued: “The closing of the registration door in Europe currently upsets his professionalism, the closest that he agreed with a local offer.
Saleh joined Al-Ahly from Enppi in the summer of 2015, but failed to secure a permanent position on the team, as his involvement varied during his five years with Al-Ahly.
During that period, Saleh appeared in 72 matches with Al-Ahly, scoring 12 goals and scoring 13 goals.
He was also transferred on loan to Al-Faisali from Saudi Arabia in January 2018.
