Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Musimane spoke up once again and sent a message to his club’s fans, players and board of directors.
Musimani said in a video posted on his official account on the social network site “Twitter” today Wednesday: “I announced my acceptance of a transfer to a new club as of October 2. This offer arose from the desire of the club to help me win more titles and I am up to the challenge. “
“It was difficult to leave because I love Sundowns, but I was offered a new challenge after eight years at Sundowns and to win 11 championships, I needed to take a new challenge and get out of my comfort zone.”
“And Sundowns can also count on a new perspective.”
And the South African coach added: “Although I have a four-year contract with Sundowns, this offer was a great opportunity for me.”
He added: “I would like to thank the president for the time I spent with the Sundowns family. My success with the club is the product of everyone working together at the club. Without the president, I did not achieve what I have achieved.”
“I hope with the passage of time that we meet again, I thank the management, the players and the fans, and I wish them success in the future,” he said.
