Nader Shawky, president of the company responsible for the management of El Gouna, revealed the news of Robin Kazan, the Russian proposal to join Ahmed Hamdi, the player of the team.
Nader Shawky said on the Sada al-Balad channel, “Robin Kazan sent us an offer on September 30 and gave us 24 hours to reply to them.”
And he added: “Indeed, the El Gouna club responded to this offer, and we are awaiting the response of the Russian club to start negotiating.”
He continued: “We do not put off things with Ahmed Hamdi, nor do we reject his professionalism, and it is quite the opposite. We want the player to become a professional and for El Gouna Club to obtain financial gain from his sale.”
He continued: “If he also wants to play in Egypt, we don’t care, but there is a condition in his contract that makes Al-Ahly the priority to buy him within Egypt, and if he rejects his right to move to any club he wants.” .
He concluded his remarks: “As for some of the statements that came out of Ahmed Hamdi, I will not reply to him.
Ahmed Hamdi responded, saying: “I sat down with Hossam Ghaly, the football coach, and explained the situation to him and he told me that we will study the situation.”
“The negotiations were complicated and failed with the closing of the transfer market,” he said.
And he continued: “I am in a period of rest and I will go back to training normally. I have a contract and I am bound by it.”
When asked what was said that the Russian candidacy was just a transition to another Egyptian club, he replied: “I am not thinking about playing against Egypt. I want to be a professional, and El Gouna promised me.”
