Tariq Al-Ashry asked the Football Association hours before Al-Ahly’s game and said: “Where is the justice?”
Al-Ashry told FilGoal.com, saying: “Managing the competitions in the Football Association made things strangely difficult for us, we cannot catch our breath due to fatigue and lack of players.”
He explained: “There is no justice from the Football Association. We were doing swabs to detect the Corona virus and the results would appear two days before the games, and suddenly the system was changed to blood tests instead of swabs.”
He continued: “The blood test confirmed that 11 players had been infected with Corona, and we spoke with the medical committee of the Football Association and they sent us at one in the morning on Friday, doctors with swabs to detect the virus.”
He added: “The field has become a state of chaos, we do not know who the injured or healthy player is. The technical talk was canceled out of fear for everyone, even during the training session, I did a normal division instead of practicing the game plan”.
Al-Ashry added: “I don’t know who will play Al-Ahly’s game, I don’t know who is available from the players to use it. I lost the Egypt cleanup match and I was playing it with a restored defense line, so the Left back for boxes is at the heart of the defense and I used a goalie who was born in 2001 to hit all my guards with Corona. “
He continued: “Since meeting Zamalek, I have not gone through any encounters with basic training, this is not fair.”
Al-Masry is scheduled to face Al-Ahly tomorrow, Saturday, in the 23rd round of the league at Burj Al Arab Stadium.
A message for my family
Tariq Al-Ashry sent a message to Al-Ahly saying: “What would happen if the first club in Egypt and the Principles Club agreed to postpone the meeting?”
“Where is the damage that would have occurred if the game had been postponed and played at the end of the season or at a later time?”
“For the good of humanity,” he added, “this postponement may help to fix what has been corrupted in recent years between Al-Ahly and Port Said.”
He concluded: “Al-Masry’s board of directors spoke with the Football Association and Al-Ahly, but Al-Ahly refused to postpone the meeting.”
