Carteron – Amir Mortada – Yahya Ali, the French coach’s agent
Mortada Mansour, president of the Zamalek Club, revealed that two offers had been made to Patrice Carteron, the team’s coach, for his continuation before announcing his final decision to leave.
And Carteron terminated his contract with Zamalek after paying the value of the contract’s two-month penalty clause.
The president of Zamalek met with his board of directors in Carton to make two offers to continue in a recorded video that was broadcast on the Zamalek channel.
Mortada told Carteron: “I informed the board of directors of your decision and it was unanimously rejected. You are a big name in the training world and you must preserve your reputation.”
“Carteron informed Amir of his desire to return to Paris because the weather did not suit him, and I refuse to damage his reputation by another offer,” he said.
Murtado made his first offer, saying: “If you have received an offer from Saudi Arabia, the Emirates or any other team, we will modify your contract.”
He underlined: “I know the captain escapes from the ship when you sink, but you are successful. You won two championships and you have a third tournament in addition to the Egypt Cup, and you have the Club World Cup and a new Super.”
“All the tournaments that you have in front of you in Zamalek are better than millions of millions in Arab clubs,” Mortada added.
The president of Zamalek addressed Carteron saying: “You are in a suitable age, you are not old like Gross, to want to go now and stop training, surely you have another offer.”
He revealed: “I am giving you a new offer to ask the club you want to leave for a month to play with Zamalek until the end of Africa and then leave without a penalty clause.”
He continued: “Let me know who the club is, and I will speak with its president so that it continues for a month until the end of Africa and I leave without a penalty clause. FYI, if you are going to go to a team for 10 piastres, you will get it 10 times after winning Africa. “
He concluded his words: “I will be sad if you leave, and it is said of you tomorrow that you escaped even if the ship does not sink and you lose all that.”
