Mohamed Youssef, former player and coach of the Al-Ahly club, sent a message of support to his former team after Pitso Mosimane took over as coach of the team.

And Mohamed Youssef wrote through his personal account on Facebook: “All the support for the great club Al-Ahly in the next season and with good luck to the new coaching staff led by Pitso Mosimani and his assistants, and God willing, they will be able to win the African Champions League and delight the great Al-Ahly fans. “

The name Mohamed Youssef came forward strongly to coach Al-Ahly to succeed Rene Fyler, who left the team a few days ago, but the club ultimately settled on Betso Musimane.

Al-Ahly announced that South African coach Pitso Musimane had officially trained the team, and the coach arrived in Egypt on Friday morning.

Mohamed Youssef played for Al-Ahly for 10 years, from 1989 to 1999, before playing in the Turkish league for three seasons, returning to Egypt via Enppi Gate and retiring from football in 2004.

Youssef was on the Al-Ahly club coaching staff as an assistant coach from 2009 to 2013, before taking on the role of first man in the 2013/2014 season.

Youssef was able to win the 2013 CAF Champions League and the 2014 African Super Cup during Al-Ahly’s training.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face the Arab Contractors tomorrow Sunday in the matches of the 31st round of the Egyptian League.
