Asked about the reason for the demotion, he said: “I take responsibility because my decision to join Tanta was my decision in the middle of the season and the contracts of the team from the beginning of the season have nothing to do with it.”
“The results of the team before my arrival were not good in the first place,” he added.
On what is said about a crisis with the players, he replied: “There are not, but there are two players who said they were injured and the doctor confirmed their recovery, and I do not know the reason for their behavior.”
Tanta ranks 18th and last in the league table with 16 points.
