Tamer Al-Nahhas, the agent of Marawan Mohsen, the Al-Ahly player, denied rumors about the possibility of his departure on loan to Al-Ittihad of Alexandria.
Copper was declared FilGoal.com: “Lending Marwan to the Federation? Al-Ahly did not approach or offer to us until now, but no one spoke to me or Marwan about the idea of finding another club from scratch.
Al-Nahas commented on the recruitment of Al-Ahly by Walter Bwalia and its impact on Marwan Mohsen’s position on the offensive line of the Pitso Mosimane Brigade.
Al-Nahas said: “Have they brought Bwalia? Al-Ahly has been hiring the attackers for 5 years and they have been competing with Marwan, but they trust him.”
He concluded: “Trust still exists in Marawan, even after hiring Bwalia, Marwan can still reserve a prime spot in Al-Ahly.”
Reports had indicated that Al-Ahly offered Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandar to include Marwan Mohsen on loan, in exchange for an early termination of Ammar Hamdi’s loan.
Reports denied by an Alexandria Union source in his interview with FilGoal.com: “We did not receive any official offer from Al-Ahly with the names of the players to change to Ammar Hamdy.”
He continued: “So far we are committed to continuing Ammar with us until the end of the current season at least.”
When asked if Al-Ahly offered the names of the Alexandria team players in exchange for Ammar, he explained: “The decision is up to the coaching staff.”
“Technical staff will be called in in this case to discuss the names and respond with approval or rejection,” he added.
He concluded his words: “We want Ammar to continue his career with us, especially after his brilliance and became one of the pillars of the team.”
