Al-Ahly coach Pitso Musimani conducted a session with his assistive device before the start of training today, Thursday, in preparation for the next period.
Musimani met with his assistants to prepare for the next leg, which begins with facing Pyramids and then traveling to Morocco to face Wydad in the semi-finals of the African Champions League.
Musimani also lectured the players before the start of the training session in preparation for the Pyramids match.
In a long session with the players, the South African coach was interested in talking about the challenges of the next stage and asked them to focus on what is to come.
Al-Ahly defeated Enppi by three unanswered goals on matchday 32 of the league competition.
Ahmed Al-Sheikh, the team’s wing, attended the group training session after recovering from the injury, as the Al-Ahly player complained of muscle fatigue and underwent a treatment and rehabilitation program.
As for the duo, Aliu Badji and Ayman Ashraf, they continued with the implementation of the qualifying program to prepare for their comeback to participate in the group training session.
Badji complained of an ankle injury that prevented him from facing Enppi, while Ayman Ashraf suffers a calf muscle strain.
The Muhammad Al-Shennawi quartet, Mahmoud Wahid, Ali Badji and Saad Samir raced through the stadium and performed some qualifying parts on the sidelines of the training session.
