Majed Sami, president of the Wadi Degla Clubs Company, criticized the idea of the resumption of soccer activity and asked who was responsible for the death of a member of the game.
The Football Association met with the Minister of Sports to present a vision on the possibility of resuming league competition again and awaiting government approval or rejection.
“When there is a building leading to the fall and one of them decides to return the residents, he must promise them their criminal responsibility,” Majid Sami wrote on his personal Facebook account.
“And that’s if something happens to any of the residents.”
“Who will have criminal responsibility if a footballer dies,” asked the president of the Board of Directors of the Wadi Degla Clubs.
“If skills are returned during the pandemic,” he concluded.
The Football Association sent the names of 6 stadiums to the Ministry of Sports as part of its plan to resume competition.
The five-member committee in charge of chairing the Football Association is awaiting the state’s final decision on whether the activity can return or not.
