Al-Ahly’s left-back Ali Maaloul said the personality of former red team coach Rene Fyler was difficult and incomprehensible.
Maaloul gave a telephone interview on the “On Time Sports” channel, and all of the following was on his lips.
Fear of missing the final
After getting injured in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Wydad, I was doing my best to participate in the second leg.

Incomprehensible fyler
All the Al-Ahly coaches I worked with are important, I learned from them and this is the most important thing for any player who wants to develop, not just participate in matches.

Contract renewal
My contract with Al-Ahly ends in 2022 and I have an agent who is in charge of studying the offers, contractual matters and all those matters, as for me, I focus with my team only in the stadium.
I respect the term of the contract, and if there is something or a decision of the club to leave me, it is the decision of the club first and foremost, and I am talking here in general that any player has his destiny in the hands of his club.
I am happy in Al-Ahly and the money is good, and certainly all the players want to reap money, but there are other things you can win. The money will come no matter what, and the love of the fans is something important.
Professional offers? I love Al-Ahly, his fans and everything in the club. Certainly, every player has ambition even if he doesn’t get it, but we must have ambition.
What happens after the triple?
We have a new season in the league, then the Super African, and we want to win it to confirm that we are African champions, not words, and then the Egyptian Super against the Army Vanguards and we want to win it, so we enter the new year in the best way.
