Leicester City snatched second place in the Premier League table from Tottenham after beating Leeds United, 4-1, in the seventh round of the competition.
Leicester reached 15th spot in second place in the Premier League table, one point behind leaders Liverpool.
While Leeds United stayed at the 10th point in 12th place.
Leicester took the lead in the second minute through Harvey Barnes after Jimmy Vardy took advantage of the misdirected return of the ball from the goalkeeper defense, cut it off and passed it to the midfielder who shoved the ball into the empty net.
Then Yuri Telemans scored the second goal in the 21st minute, following a head from Vardy, who bounced off the goalkeeper.
Leeds scored their only goal in the 48th minute by Stuart Dallas from a cross that caught goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and went to the net.
Leicester again scored the third goal through brilliant Vardy in the 79th minute.
Earlier, Telemans scored a fourth goal from the penalty spot in the last minute of the match.
Fulham vs West Bromwich
In another match, Fulham scored their first league win at the expense of West Bromwich Albion, with an unanswered double.
Fulham scored a double from Bobby Reed and Ula Anya.
It is the first game that West Brom will play after the departure of Egyptian defender Ahmed Hegazy, who joined the ranks of the Saudi Federation of Jeddah on loan.
Fulham’s first win lifted the team’s balance to point 4, in 17th place, while West Brom stayed in point 3 of 18.
