Al-Ahly’s board of directors, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, held a meeting at the clubhouse on the island to discuss many dossiers on construction and sports standards.
After the session, the Council made many decisions, as follows:
Certification of the minutes of the previous meeting of the Board of Directors, held on October 1.
Tariq Kandil, member of the Board of Directors, was in charge of supervising the preparation of proposals, the agenda and the booklet of the Ordinary General Assembly scheduled for next November 27 and 28, whose agenda was reviewed by the Council, provided it was announced in the official gazettes on October 31 in accordance with the regulations.
Form a committee headed by Muhammad Serageldin, board member and engineering consultant, to oversee the construction of a garage at the club’s Nasr City branch in an area of 33,000 square meters to serve members.
Hanan Al-Zaini, responsible for regulations and licenses, has been nominated to obtain the first diploma in sports disputes, contracts and arbitration from the International Federation of Football Associations in cooperation with the Sports Court and FIFA.
The council also reviewed the dossier submitted by engineer Sameh Ali Kamel, the engineering consultant who confirmed the completion of 80% of the club’s branch infrastructure in the Fifth Settlement for the entire 50-acre branch area. The first phase, which amounts to 70% of the branch construction, is expected to be completed in July 2021. Consequently, the Board of Directors decided to issue temporary membership cards that allow members of the Fifth Settlement Branch to enter the different branches, with tickets reduced to 50% discount, while continuing to work with the previous Board’s decision to allow the children of the assembly branch to participate in the different academies with the same fees for club members, and allow their free entry with their families as soon as they present the subscription receipt.
