Zamalek midfielder Ferjani Sassi was injured and left the team’s match against Tala’a El-Guish, injured.
According to the Zamalek Club medical staff, the initial diagnosis of Ferjani Sassi’s injury was a severe bruise on his back.
The Zamalek club coaching staff preferred not to bet with the player, and decided to remove him to avoid further injuries.
Sassi left the match between Zamalek and Al-Jaysh in the 37th minute to join Islam Jaber.
Ferjani Sassi and Ashraf Bencharki left the stadium between the two halves and headed home for medical examinations on Monday night to determine the exact extent of their injury.
Ashraf Bencharki had suffered an injury during the pre-match warm-up with a pulled connective muscle and dropped out of the match roster entirely.
Sassi received a yellow card upon leaving the stadium, confirming his absence from Smouha’s next match, which will be suspended for receiving the third yellow card.
Zamalek is ahead of the army’s vanguard with one goal so far, with the second half of the match unfolding.
