It seems that Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp is tired of asking him questions about his future as a manager, where he will go after the curtain falls on his Liverpool career.
The German previously said that he will leave Liverpool after his contract with the English club expires in 2024, but it seems his decision may change over time.
“A lot of people ask me this question. I have not heard anyone ask Pep Guardiola about his future even though his contract expires next year,” the former Mainz and Dortmund coach said in an interview with Leroy Matata on YouTube.
Klopp continued: “I have 4 years left on my contract, which is a long period. A lot can happen during this period. I guess in 4 years I will think about renewing my contract.”
“If I do not renew, I will go on vacation. When I leave Liverpool, I will not accept a new assignment the next day. This is for sure. I will rest a year after Liverpool.”
Klopp has led the Liverpool team since October 2015 and has won four titles with the club.
Klopp accomplished what his predecessors could not, returning the league title to Liverpool after an absence from the 1989-1990 season.
Klopp won the world’s best manager award last year after he led Liverpool to win the European Champions League, the European Super League and the Club World Cup.
