Greek team Volos, which includes Amr Warda, lost to OFI Crete in the Greek League for the first time in their history.
Ofi Creta defeated Volos 4-1 in the ninth match of the Greek League.
Amr Warda was involved in the match from the beginning and completed it to the end, getting a yellow card in the 86th minute.
The Volos club, which was founded in 2017, never lost a defeat to OFI Crete and managed to defeat them twice, but in the ninth round of the current season they received their first defeat in their history.
Amr Warda’s teammates have played with 10 men since the 30th minute, after defender Salvador Sánchez was shown a red card after the Uve Creta forward was completely blocked by the goal.
The 40th minute saw the visitors’ first goal from Jonathan de Guzmán after a cross with his foot from inside the area, to announce Uve Creta’s progression in the result.
And Adrián Sardinero reinforced the score for his team in the 78th minute, from a private touch in the net.
Volos’ only goal came from a header through Demopoulos in the 83rd minute, before Uve Creta responded with the third goal straight from the penalty spot through Juan Ángel.
In the last minute of the match, Fabio Sturgeon scored his team’s fourth goal.
And Volos froze at point 12 in fifth place, while Ofi Creta reached ninth point in ninth place.
