Milan manager Stefano Pioli refused to shake the hand of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after losing in the European League final.
The cameras captured Pioli leaving the stadium without shaking the hand of the Norwegian coach, who went to the Italian after the final whistle sounded.
Milan left the European League after a 1-1 draw and a 1-0 round loss at San Siro.
According to the Italian newspaper “Quire dello Sport”, Solskjaer went to shake Pioli’s hand and said: “You are a good team.”
But the Italian reacted excitedly: “Good team, idiot, you’re nothing, donkey! Your sister has a good team.”
Woof.
Milan-Manchester United Final:
Solskjaer told Pioli “good team”.
Possibly as sportsmanship.
But possibly Pioli took it as condescending and replied in Italian:
“Good team this fucking, you ass, donkey! your sister good team, your sister “
