Hisham Bensalah, agent for Geraldo da Costa, Al-Ahly wing, responded to what was said about the desire of the Swiss coach, Rene Fyler, the Red Genie, for the player’s departure.
Giraldo’s agent said: “Fyler’s desire for the player to leave? I’m like you. I read that news that is published.”
And he added in his statements on the Al-Nahar channel: “But as for me, as Geraldo’s agent, I have not received any calls from anyone in Al-Ahly recently about the fate of the player.”
“I communicate with Geraldo constantly, and the last contact was on Friday, and the player is all his current focus with Al-Ahly,” he added.
He went on to say: “There are no official offers for Geraldo from any team, and the player is currently focused on Al-Ahly in the League and the African Champions League.”
He revealed: “Geraldo told me that he is a professional player and that he respects the decisions of the club and the coach, and all his focus in training is to give the best of himself and remedy his mistakes.”
“Geraldo is not worried about his fate, he is a professional player and all his attention is on the field, and he told me that the response to criticism and the fans is to perform well on the field,” he added.
“The player feels comfortable in Al-Ahly and continues to work to develop.”
Giraldo, 28, joined Al-Ahly in early 2019 from Primeiro de Agosto, Angola.
This season, he played 18 games for Al-Ahly in various tournaments, during which he scored one goal and scored another.
