Issam Al-Hadary, the Egyptian goalkeeper, sees that Mohamed Salah lacks one thing to become the best player in the history of Egypt.

Al-Hadary said in statements to the Cairo and Al-Nas channel: “Mohamed Salah has achieved championships with Liverpool at the highest level, as he is a role model for any player in the world.”

“Salah also participated with the Egyptian national team in the World Cup final. This is a great achievement.”

He concluded: “But what he lacks is to achieve a continental championship for the Egyptian team, to become the best player in the history of Egypt.”

Mohamed Salah participated with the Egyptian national team in the African Nations Championship in 2017 and 2019. The team lost the first final to Cameroon and said goodbye to the second championship of the knockout stages.
