The draw ceremony for the 2021 Handball World Cup will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the foot of the pyramids.

The international musician Omar Khairat welcomes the concert, which will be attended by 134 people, in implementation of the precautionary measures against the Corona virus.
So far, 30 teams have qualified for the 32 tournament, for the first time in its history.
Draw procedures
For the first time, the tournament will feature 32 teams instead of 24, including 30 that have been identified and two teams will be determined through the South and Central America Last Chance Championship by Nations and the Union of Nations Championship. from the Caribbean.
The 32 teams will be divided into eight groups of four teams, and the top three teams from all groups will qualify for the main round, which will include 24 teams, while the eight unranked teams will advance to the President’s Cup.
In the main round, the 24 teams will be divided into four groups, each consisting of six teams, and the champion and runner-up from each group will qualify for the quarterfinals, which will be played in a knockout system until the final round. .
The 32 teams will be placed in four containers, each made up of eight teams of the following classification:
First classification: Denmark – Spain – Croatia – Norway – Slovenia – Germany – Portugal – Sweden
Second classification: Egypt – Argentina – Tunisia – Algeria – Qatar – Austria – Hungary – Belarus

One team will be drawn from each pot in ascending order and placed in one of the eight groups in the same order as the ranking.
Once this stage is finished, the Egyptian team, which occupies the second place, will have the right to choose their group as the venue for the tournament.
