Who deserves the Premier League award for this season? A question to be answered by Manchester City star Kevin de Bruyne.
De Bruyne said, “For me, I will tell Sadio Mane.”
“I think it was the complete package for Liverpool this season. He was a very important player for them,” he added in his comments to BT.
“So if I have to choose the best player in the league, I will choose Mane.”
The 28-year-old Senegalese star joined the Liverpool battalion in 2016.
Mane scored 18 goals and made 12 during his 38 appearances on the Liverpool jersey this season in all competitions.
Manny’s goals contributed to Liverpool’s unique leadership in the league and he was very close to officially crowning the title, had it not been for the cessation of competition due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
The fate of the English Premier League has yet to be decided.
