English newspaper Daily Mail said Arsenal had started taking steps to extend midfielder Mohamed Al-Nani’s contract after Al-Masry appeared well this season.

The current contract for Nini, 28, expires in 2022.

Nini have become a key component of coach Mikel Arteta’s squad and have appeared in 9 games this season.

Al-Nani played on loan from Arsenal to Besiktas last season, and although his future with the artillery team was unknown, he entered technician Arteta’s accounts with force.

The former player of the Arab Contractors and Basel became an indispensable element in the center of the stadium of the Al Madfagia team, which he joined in January 2016 for 12.5 million euros.

Al Nani came close to participating in his 100th game with the London club, the team’s match against Manchester United, which Arteta’s men decided with a goal that was number 98 for Nene in the red Arsenal jersey.

Al Nene scored two goals for Arsenal and sent 8 assists.

He won three titles with the team.

Al-Nini will join Egypt’s camp this November in preparation for their match against Togo in the 2021 Africa Cup qualifiers.

Al-Nani represented Egypt in 77 matches, scoring 6 goals.
