“Carteron wanted a new experience outside of Africa after a break, but was excited to offer cooperation,” he said.
He continued, “Carteron started thinking about leaving Zamalek 15 days ago and started the discussion about the idea that there is nothing new to present to the club, but I was telling him that he should continue.”
“The postponement of the African Champions League matches was one of the reasons Carteron considered leaving.”
“Carteron praised the Zamalek administration’s dealings with him, especially Amir Mortada, the soccer supervisor, and submitted his resignation to them on September 14, 3 days after his decision to leave.”
He revealed: “Carteron told me that the reason for delaying his decision to leave 15 days ago is the love of the Zamalek fans for him. He cried for his decision and told me that the Zamalek fans love me very much, for the first time I see it. cry. He told me that I coached many clubs and the first time I saw so much love. “
Regarding the declared value of the penalty clause at $ 250,000, Hazem Fattouh revealed: “The penalty clause in Carteron’s contract with Zamalek was only $ 170,000 and he received $ 85,000 a month from the club.”
He concluded, “Carton kept the dues with the club for a month and a half, deducting them from the total penalty clause and paying the remainder to terminate his contract.”
The Saudi Cooperation officially announced its two-year contract with Carteron.
