Chinese coach and former Italian star Fabio Cannavaro praised Egypt’s iconic Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah, comparing him to legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
“If you have Messi or Ronaldo, the game begins and you are ahead with a goal,” Cannavaro said in an interview with Sky Sports.
Then he added: “But I respect Salah a lot. He changed a lot in Liverpool. In the last 3 years he was like a machine.”
“He is a player that any coach wants to train because he can defend and attack and leaves nothing on the field. He does not give up,” continued the 2006 Ballon d’Or winner.
Salah became a world star elite after moving to Liverpool, in 2018 he ranked sixth in the Ballon d’Or ranking and finished fifth last year.
Salah has crowned the Premier League’s best scorer in the past two seasons and in the 2017-2018 season, his first with Liverpool, he won the award for best player in the championship after a stunning performance.
Salah was crowned the European Champions League, the European Super Cup and the Club World Cup last year.
