The Aswan board of directors decided to thank Ahmed Koshary, the team’s coach.
An official club statement read: “The Aswan Club Board of Directors decided, after a joint meeting with the Football Committee that lasted several hours, to thank Ahmed Koshary, former coach of the team.
The club’s statement added: “All historical evidence confirms and confirms that Aswan Club throughout its history was the first choice for many managers who worked for the club.”
And the club announced the appointment of Ahmed Mustafa “Bebo”, Ahmed Maradona and Ahmed Kamal, to manage the affairs of the team until the contract with a new coaching staff.
The club confirmed that its Board of Directors and the Football Committee will continue their meetings to discuss the resumes of the coaches who are capable of leading the team in the next season.
This comes in light of the link between the Koshary name and Egypt’s training for cleanup or military production next season.
The decision also comes despite Aswan’s announcement a few days ago that Koshary is continuing with the team. (See details)
The Aswan club had guaranteed their permanence in the league championship two rounds before the end of the competition, thanks to a series of good results under Koshary’s leadership, in particular the victory over Zamalek 1-0 and Haras al-Hodoud 2 -one.
Aswan is ranked 14th in the league with 37 points, one round before the end of the competition.
