Aswan Club published an official statement in which it announced the demand for international referees to manage its next matches in the league until the end of the season, and rejected what it described as unfair refereeing practices against the team.
The text of the statement read: “Based on the historically known constants of the Aswan Sports Club and its constant and continuing desire for concern and cooperation with all elements of the football system in Egypt, the Council decided as follows.”
He added: “Addressing the five-year committee of the Football Association with an official memorandum rejecting these unfair refereeing practices to which the team was subjected in recent matches, which angered everyone among the leaders and fans of the Aswan Club.”
“The club’s board of directors is in permanent session and is studying all the means and options for the next matches, to preserve the technical and legal rights of the club.”
He continued, “The refusal of all the refereeing teams that played the matches in which the team was exposed to a clear injustice and not managing the team’s matches in the future.”
He continued: “The demand to appoint international referees for the team’s matches until the end of the season in light of the expansion of the competition to stay.”
And he added: “In the interest of the club and the feelings of its fans, the Board of Directors calls on the Quinquennial Committee to return matters to their rightful place through the Federation committees specialized in the management of the league, ensuring that the principles of fair justice apply to all. “
“The club’s board of directors assures its broad fans inside and outside the government that they are united to preserve all the rights of the club, both sporting and historical.”
Aswan had drawn 3-3 with Smouha in the 25th round of the Egyptian League on Saturday. A match that saw Mohamed Abdel Majid score a hat trick for Aswan and sent him off, as well as his colleague Solmon Menasah.
Aswan is ranked 15th in the Egyptian league table with 25 points.
