Aston Villa manager Dean Smith believes his team now has a good chance of winning Premier League matches.
Goals from Jack Grealish, Conor rushhan and Tyrone Mings against Fulham contributed to their second consecutive victory in the team’s first two Premier League games for the first time since 1999.
“Soccer is a difficult game and you have to find a balance between attack and defense, at the moment we have this balance,” Smith said in comments, especially on his club’s website.
“We scored very well against Follum, but what made me most happy about this game was the desire to keep the ball out of the net,” he added.
“It’s about keeping this balance between defense and attack. If we can do that then this will give us a great chance to win the games.”
The match saw Aboubacar Camara score a goal for Fulam in the 56th minute, but the video technology caused it to be canceled due to the intervention of Alexander Mitrovic and his obstruction of the Aston Villa defender during the attack.
Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” took part in his team’s starting lineup and came out in the 83rd minute replacing Bertrand Traore.
While Ahmed Al-Mohammadi sits on the benches at Aston Villa.
With that result, Aston Villa scored six points, occupying fourth place in the table and has a postponed match against Manchester City.
Fulam is the ultimate nonsense.
