The African Football Confederation (CAF) announced the final candidates for the federation’s presidency and membership in the Executive Council.
And “CAF” issued an official statement on the official website, in which it revealed the final candidates for the next elections.
The candidates for the presidency of the African Union arrived five, among them a name whose nomination was finally rejected, Ahmed Ahmed, the current president of the African Union, who was detained by order of the International Federation for administrative violations.
The names of the candidates are as follows:
Augustine Emmanuel (55 years old) – President of the Senegal Football Association
Jacques Bernard Aroma (69 years old): Honorary President of the Ivory Coast Football Association and former member of the FIFA Executive Board.
Ahmed Ahmed – President of the Confederation of African Football Associations (CAF) (not officially qualified)
Ahmed Ould Yahya (44 years old) – President of the Mauritanian Football Association. (Your eligibility to run will be considered later)
Patrice Mozebi (58 years old) – President of Mamelodi Sun Downs (his eligibility to run will be considered later)
On the other hand, the African Union revealed 16 candidates for members of the Executive Council of the Union, they are.

The elections will be held on March 12 in Rabat, Morocco.
