A source familiar with the Al-Ahly club denied that he had reached an agreement to join Al-Ahly Jeddah’s Youssef Blayli from Al-Ahmar.
And Algerian press reports had indicated that Blailey would arrive in Cairo on Friday, to complete his transfer to Al-Ahmar, which the source denied to FilGoal.com.
The source said, briefly, “We have not yet reached an agreement to include Bliley.”
Earlier, an official source for Al-Ahly told FilGoal.com: “The club is working to reach an agreement with Blailey despite his difficulty.”
The source, who preferred not to be identified, explained the reasons for the difficulty of the deal, saying: “The difficulty is that the player’s salary is $ 3 million per season.”
He added: “The player showed flexibility in negotiating with Al-Ahly and reducing his salary to $ 2 million per season.”
He continued: “But the Al-Ahly administration also made reservations about the payment of this large amount, that if there is a possibility to pay it, Ramadan Sobhi would get it before his departure.”
He continued: “But Al-Ahly made another offer to Youssef Bliley, which is to receive a million dollars per season, with an increase each season of 100,000 dollars.”
He concluded his comments: “As for Rene Fyler, Al-Ahly’s coach, he expressed his admiration for Blailey’s abilities and agreed to join the team.”
Hafeez, Youssef Blaylee’s father and agent, confirmed in statements that Al-Ahly was continuing his negotiations to include his son.(See details)
