Amir Mortada Mansour, General Supervisor of Football, attacked the Egyptian Football Association and Olympic Committee, following his team’s victory over Smouha in the Egyptian Cup.
Zamalek defeated Smouha by two goals to one in the round of 16 of the Egyptian Cup.
Amir Mortada said on Zamalek TV: “What happened from the Olympic Committee is useless and Zamalek is white and every day they put more obstacles on us, and these things do not happen with any other club.”
He added: “I contacted the official in charge of the competitions in the Football Association to ask how to play in Ismailia, and after two days in Cairo, then in Alexandria, then travel to Morocco, and his answer was that this it’s normal without problems. “
“The current football season is corrupt and everything is going wrong.”
“The Football Association sent us to change the team’s clothes against Smouha, because the sponsor of the Egyptian Cup is different from the sponsor of the league,” he added.
And he continued sarcastically: “I want to see the great sponsorship rights of the league because everything that happens is nothing more than (you).”
He noted: “Hussam Al-Zinati answers us and he is a good person, but he will not give us any convincing words.”
He continued to attack the Egyptian Olympic Committee, saying: “For a year, I have heard about the Olympic Committee and I don’t know what it is or what its job is.”
And he stressed that “until we speak clearly and frankly, the Olympic Committee says that there are transgressions of the president of Zamalek, but when Ahmed Schubert attacked a guest in the air, he appeared naturally in the air as if nothing had happened.”
And he continued to attack the Football Association, “Imam Ashour was sanctioned for one match for eluding one of the players, but when Walid Suleiman hit a referee, what did they do to him?”
He expressed his anger by saying: “What is happening has nothing to do with football, but it is a recruitment period.”
He stressed that “all members of Zamalek are united in one thing, which is to support the club, and we are not going to fall, or shake a single hair.”
“The team knows very well that what is happening is its objective to hit its stability, but all the players have personality as members of the board of directors, and nothing affects us,” he concluded.
