Tunisian defender Ziad Boughatt, a player for Etoile Sahel, revealed his professional choice in the Egyptian League, after having agreed with the Tunisian team leadership on the march.
Boughatt announced the end of his career with the star, after he held a session with Reda Sharafuddin, the club president, to reveal what happened in the session, saying: “Each side presented their vision and we quickly reached an agreement. Negotiations were not complicated because my relationship with the president of the club is special, and each one stagnated. A party is safe because of its position regarding my legal status, since I consider myself free of all commitment for some time, contrary to what the administration believes ”.
In his interview with the Tunisian newspaper Al-Sahafa, he revealed: “In order to avoid problems, I decided to go out the front door and gave up a decent amount of my financial dues in exchange for leaving, and I promised the club president that I would not follow the club and avoid legal disputes, and I think it is the best solution. “
In his next step, Boughatt noted “In a large percentage, I will be in the Egyptian league next season because I have a series of offers that I am studying with my agent and I will make the final decision in a few hours.”
He explained: “I have offers from Enppi, Samouha and Ceramica Cleopatra, but I have not decided my final position yet.”
He went on to say: “I chose to become a professional in the Egyptian league because the technical level has developed significantly in Egypt, so there is no comparison with the state of our championship in the level of infrastructure, as well as in the volume of investments.” .
“The Egyptian League has become in recent years a destination for many stars, similar to the successful experience of the national team trio, Ali Maaloul (Al-Ahly), Ferjani Sassi (Zamalek), and to a lesser extent Saif El Din Al Jaziri (The Arab Contractors) “.
He continued: “I met Ali Maaloul in the past term, and he encouraged me to come to Egypt and assured me that the conditions are right for emergence and glory, which increased my determination to choose the Egyptian league.”
Boughatt said: “I will not secretly pass on if I say that the Egyptian championship enjoys a great external following, either from the media or from the club’s agents and players. Therefore, I can move from Egypt to a better tournament and why not to Europe “.
Ziad Boughatt has played for Etoile Sahel since the youth teams and has played for the first team since the 2011/2012 season.
The 29-year-old has appeared in 21 games this season between the League and the African Champions League.
