Al-Duhail, the captain of Qatar, said his team respected Al-Ahly more than necessary during the clash between the two teams.

And Al-Ahly had the opportunity to qualify for the final, or to play for third place, the best position Al-Ahly achieved in its history in the tournament, or fourth.
