FilGoal | News | Al-Ahly: This is what we fear from arbitration in Africa … and the truth of the contract with Blailey and Bannon

Sayed Abdel Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly Club, revealed his concern about refereeing in the CAF Champions League.

“What I fear about arbitration in the African Championship is the reduction of the team by the referee, and if Bakari Jasama is chosen to lead Wydad’s party, it will be a failed choice of the African Union,” Abdel Hafeez told Al-Ahly.

“Víctor Gómez is the best referee on the African continent, and his level is nothing less than that of the best leaders in Europe and the world,” he added.

Abdel Hafeez went to speak about the new Al-Ahly deals and said: “The technical staff will determine the team’s needs for new deals after the end of the African Championship.”

He continued: “The contract with Youssef Blayly and Badr Bannon? When only contracts appear, Al-Ahly has a contract with the player, other than that, all that is said is mere words.”

The soccer coach also updated an update on the negotiations raised by other clubs with Aliu Diang and Hamdi Fathi, the team’s players. “It could be kind of a distraction for the players and the team,” he said.

“There is a difference between a team that has money and a club that has the ingredients for a tournament. These include many elements such as the management, the fans, the personality of the team and the history,” he added.

Al-Ahly officially won the league title for 42nd and 6 rounds before the end of the competition.

Al-Ahly drew with Egypt for clearance last night, Saturday, scoreless, on matchday 28 of the Egyptian League.
