Ahmed Mortada Mansour, a member of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, said his team is not interested in responding to what Patrice Carteron, the team’s former coach, said, noting that he fled the club’s training and that everyone knows it.
Ahmed Mortada said on Radio On Sport, saying: “Carteron should be silent and not talk about anything after what he did to us, and his departure in this unfortunate way.”
He continued: “We don’t care what he says and we answer him and ask him who you are. You are a fugitive from training Zamalek and the whole world knows what you did.”
“We are not interested in answering you, and we close your page, and from now on we have nothing to do with it,” he added.
He concluded: “Look at him how he was devastated and suffering from shyness in the video that was recorded during his meeting with the Board of Directors, he himself was sad about what he did.”
Carteron terminated his contract with Zamalek by paying the penalty clause on Tuesday night, and was appointed coach of the Al-Taawon club on Wednesday night.
