Ahmed Mortada Mansour, a member of the Zamalek board, stressed that he is only thinking about the match between Zamalek and Moroccan Raja in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Champions League, next Sunday.
Ahmed Mortada’s statement comes despite the fact that the Olympic Committee Arbitration and Arbitration Center issued a ruling to invalidate Zamalek’s list on the basis of which the by-elections were held, which he placed on the Board of Directors.
Ahmed Mortada said: “My response to what happened is one thing, I will not think about the referee, all my thinking is with the first team in the match between Zamalek and Al-Raja. We will not give up our presence in the final match and we will face the Al-Ahly “.
He remarked: “Whoever tries to take us by other routes, we will not focus on him.
He concluded: “My message to the Zamalek fans is to do like me and just worry about the game and don’t think today.”
The ruling denies the nullity of the list and denies everything that resulted from it, including the election of Ahmed Murtado Mansour, Hamada Anwar and Ahmed Adel Abdel Fattah as members of the Board of Directors, and Ashraf Zaki as treasurer, before his resignation.
Mamdouh Abbas, the former president of the club, filed the lawsuit in his capacity as an active member of the club, and it was accepted on that basis despite confirmation from Mortada Mansour, the current president of the club, that Abbas’s membership was void.
