The Saudi Football Federation announced the appointment of Ivan Bebek as the arena referee to face the decision and unity on the last day of the current Saudi League season.
Bebek assists the duo Göran Pataky and Milovan Restich as assistant referees, Mohamed Braidy as fourth official, Vasco Santos as video referee and Adel Shrahili as his assistant.
The Saudi daily Al-Madina previously said that “the fatal mistakes made by Croatian referee Bebek in the Jeddah-Al-Nasr match” were the reason for excluding the Croatian referee from leading the Saudi League matches. (See the full report, which lists all the bugs)
Bebek previously refereed in Egypt, where he led the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match in the 2007/08 season, the same two-team match in the current season, as well as the Al-Ahly and Pyramids match in the second round last season. .

Al-Hazm ranks 15th in the Saudi League table with 27 points, while Al-Wehda ranks fifth with 46 points.
Bebek has led 18 career games in the Saudi League since the 2016-2017 season, during which he has won 93 yellow cards, 4 indirect dismissals and 7 penalty kicks.
The 43-year-old Croatian referee refereed 5 matches this season, the last of which was Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr, which ended in a draw with a goal for each team, in round 29 competitions and saw 6 yellow cards and a penalty.
