The Sudanese team achieved an important victory over their hosts São Tomé and Príncipe with two unanswered goals in the match that brought them together on Wednesday.
This occurred within the framework of the fifth qualifying round for the 2021 African Cup of Nations, which will be played in Cameroon for Group C.

An important victory for Rwanda
Rwanda beat Mozambique 1-0, scored by Lagoi Berengero in the 69th minute.
That victory lifted Rwanda’s balance to five points, and it ranks second in the group, ten points behind the team, Cameroon.
Mozambique stayed at four points, even with Cape Verde.
Cameroon and Cape Verde will meet on Thursday.
And because of Cameroon’s leadership in Group Six, only the runner-up will qualify for the African nations.

A great victory for Ethiopia
Ethiopia beat Madagascar with four unanswered goals in Group 1 competitions.
The goals of the match were scored by Amanuel Gebrimichael in the 19th minute and Gitaneh Gipito in the 34th minute.
Abu Bakr Nasser added the third goal in the 41st minute, and Shemles Beckley completed the Ethiopian team’s fourfold with a goal in the 86th minute.
Ethiopia leads the group with nine points, followed by Ivory Coast with seven points, same as Madagascar, and Niger, fourth, with three points.
Teams from Ivory Coast and Niger will meet on Thursday.
