Abdel Hamid Bassiouni, a former Al-Jaish coach, believes Zamalek is the closest to winning the African Champions League at the expense of Al-Ahly.

Bassiouni spoke to the channel “On Time Sports” and said: “I see him addressing Zamalek because the team has a very strong and offensive midfield. Zamalek’s defense is good, but sometimes he has some mistakes.”
He continued: “Al-Ahly has a lot of distinguished players, but I think Zamalek’s offensive part is better than Al-Ahly. Zamalek wins 60% compared to Al-Ahly’s 40%.”

Bassiouni added: “As for Pacheco, he plays realistic football and has achieved excellent results with Zamalek, and I see that the two teams agree with the choices of both coaches after the change that occurred mid-season.”
