Abdel Hamid Bassiouni, a former Al-Jaish coach, believes Zamalek is the closest to winning the African Champions League at the expense of Al-Ahly.

Bassiouni spoke to the channel “On Time Sports” and said: “I see him addressing Zamalek because the team has a very strong and offensive midfield. Zamalek’s defense is good, but sometimes he has some mistakes.”
He continued: “Al-Ahly has a lot of distinguished players, but I think Zamalek’s offensive part is better than Al-Ahly. Zamalek wins 60% compared to Al-Ahly’s 40%.”
Regarding the players who can contribute to the tip of any team during the match, he said: “Ashraf Bencharqi is the one who will tip Zamalek. Al-Ahly is the most outstanding player in which is Aliu Diang, one of the best midfielders. from Africa”.
Regarding the coaches of the two teams, Pitso Mosimane and Jaime Pacheco, he said: “Al-Ahly plays without problems with Musimane and has achieved great results.”
Bassiouni added: “As for Pacheco, he plays realistic football and has achieved excellent results with Zamalek, and I see that the two teams agree with the choices of both coaches after the change that occurred mid-season.”
