Ahmed Eid Abdel Malek, the star of Zamalek and the former Egypt team, disagrees with the idea of calculating the league title in favor of Al-Ahly, should the current season of competition be canceled.

He explained During his appearance with FilGoal.com on (Instagram): “But let’s go back in time and count all the canceled tournaments.”
And the number “I have the right to obtain the 2012 title with the border guards, and Zamalek has patrols that have not yet been calculated to cancel them.”
On the overall fate of the league, Ahmed Eid said: “The best thing is for the five-year committee to see what’s best for Egyptian football and do it. I personally want the league to return, but how is that going to happen?”
He explained: “Until June 1, there is no activity in Egypt, the teams are not training and it will take them at least 4 to 6 weeks to regain their fitness, and the clubs participating in the African Championship will need a month and a half and will play friendly matches also before playing the African semifinals. “
And he continued his speech saying: “If we assume that the league returned on July 1, when will it end? Especially since the competition will also witness the postponement of some games due to the African Championship.”
Ahmed Eid sees “I think it is very difficult to complete the league, and I am not saying this because of my inclination and encouragement for Zamalek, but this is my opinion. “
“Al-Ahly if he won the title it will be number 42. It is not 41 of 42,” he said.
“Whoever wants to regain the league will come out and explain how this will happen,” he said. “He says he will have full responsibility in case of any damage.”
