A source from the Olympic Committee and the Football Association said that FIFA had notified him that it was taking an official decision to reconstitute again the five-year committee that administers the Egyptian Football Association, and all elements that currently exist would be excluded. And that is in exclusive statements to FilGoal.com.
The source stated: “FIFA has notified us that an official decision has been made to reconstitute the Five-Year Committee again, and everyone present will be excluded and reconstituted with completely new names in a matter of hours.”
He continued: “The committee has completed all of its tasks, and the new committee will be tasked with holding elections within a period not to exceed two months from the committee’s appointment.”
In a statement, FIFA announced the extension of the work of the committee that oversees the Egyptian Football Association until January 31, early December. (See details)
The committee’s work was scheduled to end on November 30, 2020, to extend VIVA’s term, while reducing the number of its members from 5 to 3 people.
