He added: “At the moment, the possibility of postponing the semifinal matches of the Champions League and the Confederation until November is managed in the halls of the African Confederation due to the outbreak of the Corona virus in Morocco, and the infection of many players of Wydad and Raja “.

And he continued: “If the matches are postponed to mid-November, we will have a good chance of finishing the Egyptian League in October and before the deadline to submit the names of the teams that will participate in the Champions League and Confederation, and the four first places of the league will be completely liquidated “.

He continued, “In the event that the matches are not postponed and played on time, the Football Association already has more than one scenario prepared for this situation and how to resolve the participants in the Champions League and the Confederation next season.” .

“Hossam Al-Zinati, head of the FIFA Competitions Committee, has already prepared these scenarios and will officially announce them himself when CAF announces the fate of the current semi-final matches.”

Al-Ahly will play Moroccan Wydad and Zamalek against Raja in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, and the first leg matches will be played in Morocco on September 25 and 26.

The return trip will take place in Egypt on October 2 and 3.
