The Aswan team officially guaranteed to remain in the Egyptian League Championship for the next season, after defeating Haras El Hodoud.
Aswan defeated Haras El Hodoud 2-1 at the Police Academy Stadium, on matchday 32 of the Egyptian League.
Ayoub Bin Mushark scored the first goal for Haras Al Hodoud, while Ibrahim Jalal scored the goal for Aswan.
The victory lifted Aswan’s balance to 37th place, moving up to 10th place, while the Border Guard’s balance froze at 30th from 16th place.
Description of the match
It didn’t take long for the match to start. The border guards scored the first goal in the seventh minute. A corner was taken inside the penalty area and Ayoub Bin Participate headed in the goal.
Aswan almost leveled in the 20th minute with a header from Ibrahim Jalal, but hit the left post and missed the equalizer.
Aswan continued the pressure, but the border guards’ defenses held tight, ending the first half with the visitors leading with a goal.
Second half
The start of the second half was in favor of Aswan, who tied in the 50th minute. A cross was received by Ibrahim Jalal with a touch directly on the goalkeeper, scoring a tie.

Ahmed Al-Ghandour, the match referee, counted 11 minutes into the calculated time instead of losing, but did not witness the new, to end the match with Aswan winning 2-1.
After the match, celebrations began between the Aswan players and their stands, while the Haras al-Hodoud players continued to challenge the match’s decision.
The victory ensured that Aswan officially remained in the league championship after its score climbed to 37th point in 10th place, while Haras al-Hodoud’s balance froze at 30th point out of 16. Result signifies the disembarkation of the border guards with the loss of the points to come, or the victory of the border guards, El Gouna and the Army Vanguard.
