Jimmy Vardy celebrates Leicester City’s goal in West Bromwich
Leicester City opened the season by beating West Bromwich Albion by three.
Leicester City beat West Bromwich by three goals to nil at “The Hawthorns” in Premier League first-round matches.
Timothy Castagni scored one goal and Jamie Vardy scored two goals for Leicester City.
The victory secures the first three points for Leicester, while West Bromwich’s first win is postponed after returning from the First Division.
The first part of the game ended negatively and without chances with a slight control from Jimmy Vardy.
In the second half, Leicester City took the lead in the 57th minute through Timothy Castagni.
Dennis Bright cross, received by Timothy Castagni with a header into the net, scoring the first.
In the 58th minute, Dennis Bright fired again, but his ball hit the defense and into a corner.
Leicester and taking a penalty in the 78th minute, after a foul suffered by Fardi inside the penalty area.
Fardi successfully scored the penalty, to score Leicester City’s second goal.
Again, the referee awarded a penalty kick for Leicester City in the 82nd minute, and Fardi successfully executed it too, to score the third goal.
The victory secures the first three points for Leicester, while West Bromwich’s first win is postponed after returning from the First Division.
