And local and federal officials said the body parts found at the scene were identical to the DNA of the 63-year-old Warner.

The US media described Warner as an “IT worker”, adding that he was “eccentric and lives outside of Nashville.”

The Nashville City Police Department said in a statement Sunday that “it is unlikely at this time that anyone else was involved in the blast.”

On Friday morning, Nashville City Police announced that a powerful explosion occurred at 6:30 a.m., causing minor injuries to 3 people, who were taken to hospital.

Police indicated that the explosion was caused by a residential vehicle and that it was likely an intentional act.

Later, police said that when officers arrived at the scene early this morning, they found a motor home with a “voice recording” that said the car would explode in 15 minutes and asked people to drive away from the area.
