Farida Ramadan, a transgender male-to-female teacher in the Beheira governorate, appealed to Dr. Tariq Shawky, the Minister of Education, to grant her financial quotas for the period she worked as a teacher in the Damietta governorate.

Farida said, during her presentation of the “Al-Hekaya” program on MBC Egypt, that she underwent a sexual correction operation to transform herself from a man named Muhammad Ramadan into a woman, explaining: “I seek two needs that I deserve from the Minister of Education and an apartment, God willing, a room and a prayer. “

Farida added: “Now I am settling in Buhaira governorate, and I went through health conditions that forced me to undergo female sex reassignment surgery due to my illness … and I was working in a school and until now and since I underwent the conversion process, I have not returned to my work. “

And about the most difficult thing he went through to prove his identity after the sexual correction: “The head of the civil registry of our country in the country sat down to say:“ I don’t wear this, Mohammed, and treat me like a man. … and if he did not guide me and understand the situation, I would not have the matter except and I told him that if I want to reject the file, I refuse ”.

Farida Ramadan appealed to the Minister of Education to return to working as a school as it was before the surgery. He said: “I am sick and I am in treatment, there are reports of my state of health and I only had to go to the operation.”

He indicated that he has become a normal person and wants to get married, and said: “Now I can get married normally … and the state recognizes me as a woman.”
